The South African Social Security Agency (SASSA) in Mpumalanga is currently checking out the Fernie two Community Hall in Mpuluzi to render expert services on the community.

SASSA are going to be rendering solutions which include new social grant applications, change of payment method, customer care enquiries, in addition to the Social Relief of Distress (SRD) COVID-19 grant enquiries.

In an announcement, the agency said it can be alarmed regarding the significant range of people depending on social grants for survival.
“The aim of the Integrated Registration Outreach Programme [ICROP] is to reach-out to some significant range of clients/beneficiaries to access SASSA services.

“This can be due to lack of infrastructure at Fernie and there's no absolutely functional office dedicated to service the area every day. The services level designed for intervention activities a substantial influx of possible beneficiaries, which makes it complicated for that office to attend to all people who check out a service point.

“In this reach-out programme, SASSA will mobilise sassa status check far more sources to allow the servicing of all clients and increase usage of Social Assistance products and services,” the agency said.
